Tom Simpson continued to teach some incredible seminars for students and colleagues in Bosnia-Herzegovina even after a cancer diagnosis and treatment! We are so grateful that Tim has recovered and is cancer-free! He brought Bosnians and friends of Bosnians together with guest speaker filmmaker and director, Guiilaume de Fontenay for a private screening and discussion of his astonishing new film, Sympathie Pour le Diable about the french war correspondent Paul Marchand’s experience in Sarajevo during the siege. The film is a remarkable tribute to the citizens of Sarajevo and to Paul, the filmmaker’s friend who we lost from this world way too soon.
